After two years of India abstinence we finally made it back a few months ago. Picking up the rest of the family in Mumbai, we left for Bhuj on the Cutch Express just a few hours after landing. In Cutch we enjoyed fresh warm jalebi gathya, Mandvi Beach (our favourite) and a rickshaw tour of Bhuj before heading back to Mumbai and on to New Delhi for my friends wonderfully intense wedding. The last week we spent unwinding in Gangtok and Darjeeling, driving up the mountains, visiting Buddhist monasteries, munching chilli momos and of course drinking tea.
