Monki Pavillion

Monki is a purpose driven brand that aims to empower young women to empower the world. Monkis store concept vision is to co-create circular, value driven store formats that builds strong relations with our community in environments exploring the imaginative Monkiworld. Shared projects are developed together with my team, selected images highlighting my focus areas.

Dreamweavery dawn, the first iteration of the Monki future store concept in Asia. Recycled plastic strips in sunrise shades are suspended inside the retained glass facade and leads the customer into the store. The plastic strips continues inside where they create a focal point for the A-area and also act as space dividers between collection areas to create a clear customer journey. The initial idea was for the space dividing plastic strips to sit on tracks that spanned the length and depth of the store to enable the possibility to rearrange the collection areas to suit future needs.

This is the first, and so far only, store where we’ve commissioned a local artist to create a long life artwork, interpreting the Dreamweavery story as part of her own journey learning about shadow work and the subconscious mind.
