In 2018, I joined my cousins in Zansibar for a few days before we headed to Tanzania for a safari to explore some of the biggest nature preserves in Africa. A big fan of animals since I was a little kid, this was a long longed for trip. After the safari, we spent a few days in the mountains, and took a short hike up to the first base camp on Kilimanjaro.
